So sad, boo @ zoo : (

We were so excited to take Jenna to boo @ the zoo last Sat.! It would be the first time for all three of us. We wook Jenna up a little early from her nap and got her all dressed up in her halloween costume, right. We packed Jenna, some toys, her stroller and a blanket into the car and headed downtown to the zoo! We were so excited! (Little side note, Daniel is a very calm guy. He always lets things go easier than me. Just remember that for a bit.)

So we got to the zoo and took out little bunny out and walked to the main entrance to buy tickets(we checked online fisrt and it showed tickets available still, so that was good news.) A lady standing at the main gate asked if we were zoo members. We said,"no'" Then she told us we could not come in because the had reached their capacity for the day. Little did we know the rule of only 13,000 guests, unless your a member. It listed that no where on the website either Okay.... here is where my let it go husband surprised me. I wanted to argue, but..he beat me!!(not normal) He asked why and told her they were still open with plenty of time before they would close. Nope, she still kept on with the same old thing. Then Daniel said, "we are here and your still open, so...let us in? Oh..... look there go a bunch of people and look some more. Now your not at capacity and you can let us in!" The zoo lady still said,"no!" Then Daniel looked very upset, so I just blurted out, "okay... let's just take Jenna for a walk then." This turned the focus away from the soon to be throw down and we left. Upset and sad, but we walked off. So a sad mommy, daddy and bunny went for a walk. Jenna looked soooo cute. Maybe next year! Plus we still get to dress her up for trunk-or-treat too!

P.S. Daniel is so in love with his little girl that he became the strong protective daddy. The you, won't hurt my little girl thing. I thought it was adorable. Luckily Jenna is still young enough she didn't get heart broken since she didn't really even know where here crazy parents were dragging her too, dressed so funny.
