Independence Day..red, white and blue

Well we had a fun 4Th of July in Indianapolis. Our very first rained OUT 4Th of July in our lives!! For all three of us.
We still made the best of it anyway. We had some family of to our house, BBQ, lit some successful fireworks, the kids played, ran around and we hung out until it got dark. We hoped just like everyone else it would clear up by the time we headed downtown for the big show. Oh and Jenna loves fireworks. She wasn't scared of them at all. If some went off she'd run to the door and say, "okt, okt, whoa whoa!!" It was just adorable.

We got Jenna in her jammies and headed toward downtown. We cara-vaned with another dental student and his wife, Dawnelle and the kids. We pulled of and parked in a lot close enough to see. The city delayed the show 30min. Then they cancelled it 3min after it was suppose to start. At least we saw all the fireworks everyone else shot off. The big fireworks are not illegal out here so we did see some pretty good ones. Jenna loved it of course. We taught her to say, "more" after they stopped. It was fun. Better luck for tomorrows show.
PICTURES?? (tons of pictures) Corn........look at all her corn. That is her favorite vegetable! Today she was introduced to a whole new world. Doritos!! I don't by chips, but if we do it's plain white corn tortilla. Boring, right? This was her new friend all night!
