After we played at the park we took Jenna home for her afternoon nap. We needed her to be well rested for all the fun with her family and a few friends later in the evening.
6:30pm came, friends arrived, balloons were floating, pictures hung, and we celebrated. It was fun and rather interesting.
The kids had no need for a clown, there was a cooler full of ice and water bottles. Free entertainment.
As for the rather interesting part. Jenna was not sure what to think as we sang happy birthday to her. Then when we all encouraged her to blow out the candle Jenna looked at us, then the candle and reached up to put it out with her finger!! Hence the picture of her crying. Uncle Dr. Scott was fast to react and put ice on it and cleaned the wax off. Then a scoop of ice cream calmed her and then a slice of cake!
Jenna got some fun things!! A rolling dog, a soft tinker bell chair, baby dolls, and pajamas!! We had a great night. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated the night!!
